Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This policy explains how Fastward handles your information. It covers two things: the fastward.app website (including the waitlist) and the Fastward iOS app. “We,” “us,” and “Fastward” refer to the maker of the app.
The short version
- The website only collects your email address, and only if you choose to join the waitlist.
- The app is offline-first — your fasting data stays on your device. No account required.
- We don’t sell your data and we don’t run ad trackers.
The website & waitlist
When you submit the waitlist form, your email address is sent to Loops, our email service provider, so we can notify you when Fastward launches and send the occasional product update. Loops processes this on our behalf; their handling is governed by the Loops privacy policy.
- We don’t use cookies, analytics, or third-party trackers on this website.
- We don’t store your email in any database of our own — there is no backend behind this site.
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
The Fastward app
Fastward is designed to be private by default. Most of your data never leaves your phone.
- Stored on your device: your fasts, notes, history, and streaks are kept locally on your device and work fully offline. Fastward has no account and no server — we never receive your fasting data. Your device’s own iCloud backup is what carries it to a new iPhone.
- Purchases: Fastward is a one-time purchase handled by Apple’s App Store. Your entitlement is managed through RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment-card details.
- No ads, no ad trackers: we don’t include advertising SDKs or sell your information to anyone.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you (your waitlist email address — the only personal data we hold). Deleting the app removes the data stored locally on your device. To make a request, email us at hello@fastward.app.
Children
Fastward isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
